Course Description
this course examines the challenges which businesses face in the course of
conducting their international operations. it focuses on how to formulate and
implement marketing plans in real world settings. themes examined include
--but are not limited to-- the following: issues in selecting foreign markets;
the impact of cultural dynamics on international business; linking corporate
social responsibility and profitability; entry modes into foreign markets;
u.s. export regulations; executing an international shipment: from pro forma
invoices to letters of credit.
