Business and Information Technology Society (BITS): The Business and Information Technology Society (BITS) is an undergraduate student organization that seeks to enhance the student experience by developing effective business leaders who can have an immediate impact in the technology enabled business firm. BITS seeks to inform students about the various career paths and networking opportunities in consulting from all aspects of business; such as, accounting, finance, logistics and supply chains, marketing, economics, operations and quality management. BITS also seeks to show that technology is the driving force behind all these business processes and exposes students to the information systems field, its various career paths and other cutting edge technologies used in the business world.

Business Ethics Society (BES): The Business Ethics Society (BES) will be officially launched in the Spring 2006 semester. The purpose of BES is to instill in undergraduates an appreciation for ethical conduct in business, to highlight the advantages of making ethical decisions in the business world, and to thus foster a network of students who value ethics and make a difference through leading by example. Club events will include guest speakers, company sponsored activities, debates, re-inactments, mentorships with high schoolers, and other events.

Smith Mentor Council (SMC): The Smith Mentor Council coordinates mentoring activities for the STARS program, drawing participation from all of the Smith-sponsored student organizations, and providing a central point of contact for groups and individuals requesting STARS mentors for workshops and presentations, both on- and off-campus. SMC works closely with the Smith Office of Undergraduate Studies to develop programs and activities designed to encourage and support prospective freshmen seeking admission to the Smith School, and to provide a supportive network and educational activities once on campus.
